Tuning Aspects
This latest addition to the NovaPans series, Generation 7, isn’t only spectacular in color but also in sound. Each note has a sustain of at least an extra half-second, enough to give playing the Generation 7 handpans a lot more of a meditation vibe. This handpan is great for anybody wanting more of your stereotypical relaxation handpan for giving spiritual or calming feelings. Though the series 7 handpans come in gold, they all come provided with an orange belt which is primarily for protection against any slight knocks but also suits the handpan aesthetically. Also, the harmonics are splendidly easy to produce (relative to other models) and sound very sweet (see at around 53s in the video below).
NOTE THAT there are two versions of the Generation 7 Handpan being sold. One in the brand new version marked as ‘In Stock’ or ‘Preorder’ and the other is the ‘Demo Model’ which are the same handpans. The demonstration models are those which have been used for videos or for demonstration purposes and bear only physical markings such as scratches and grazes. Their sound is, in fact, indifferent to that of the in-stock version. So, if you’re looking for a handpan that has the sound but a few scratch marks on them, none that really look hideous, then the demonstration models are a great deal! Please allow up to an additional 7 days for the production of 13 note handpans as these require a little extra production time!
Extras
All Generation 7 Handpans come with their own soft cases and black belts for protecting the edge of the handpan against slight knocks or bumps (also for aesthetic purposes). Further Information: All notes of the handpan have a beautiful resonance which when played with a little practice, can be tamed in anything from a matter of minutes to less than a week.
